BT Products AB ingår i Toyota-koncernen och är världsledande inom trucktillverkning. BT har flera dotterbolag i olika delar av världen som tillverkar truckar, t ex Raymond i USA. Några av de BTtillverkade truckarna har ett höjdmätningssystem. Detta höjdmätningssystem är till för att underlätta för föraren att positionera gafflarna i höjdled. Föraren måste aktivt ge styrsignal för att en höjdrörelse skall tillåtas.

At Sandvik Materials Technology, Argon gas is used as furnace atmosphere when heattreating hot rolled wire. Upon heating chromium steel wire, a rich oxidelayer forms on the wire surface. The abstract of this masters thesis is to enhance the understanding of the constitution of the oxidelayers and the influence of the furnace atmosphere. This will be achieved by performing a number of annealing experiments on laboratory level. Also, the aim is to understand the chemical reactions and physical mecanisms controlling the pickling process.

This report investigates a possible solution to the problem with adapting wave powerplants to work in countries with tidal water. The wire connecting the buoy at the surface with the generator at the bottom needs to adjust to the varying water depth. Our solution to this problem is to attach the wire to a jack which is then placed inside the buoy. The jack is then powered by an electric engine. The report discuss what forces the buoy will be exposed to and then the structural integrity of the design is evaluated through simulations.

Detta examensarbete gjordes för HTC Sweden AB i Söderköping. Företaget utvecklar och producerar slipmaskiner och städsystem för golv. Uppgiften var att genom en marknadsundersökning av tillgänglig mätutrustning hitta och ta fram ett fungerande system för temperaturmätning, strömförbrukning, varvtal, verktygsslitage samt luftfuktighet för HTC:s slipmaskiner.Inköp gjordes av givare, datalogger samt datainsamlingskort. Och budgeten på 20 000 Kr hölls. Programvaran som valdes var LabVIEW demoversion och EasyView.

Sandvik Wire needed a review of the administrative part of the order fulfillment process and especially the work around packing and the inventory of finished goods. Therefore we acquired the assignment to investigate the administrative part of the order fulfillment process in the company with the purpose to identify potential for improvement. This investigation was performed with focus on the terminal and packing functions. The purpose with the investigation was also to identify critical factors for an efficient order fulfillment process and investigate if information quality is such a factor.Data was collected through interviews and observations on Sandvik Wire. With the help of this data the information and material flows was mapped, the work within terminal and packing, and adjacent functions was investigated.

This master thesis was conducted at Motala Wire Works Ltd (MWW) in Motala during the autumn and winter of 2007-2008. The thesis named ?Future layout of Motala Wire Works? focuses on making a better planed layout for the factory, which also take in to consideration future changes.Motala Wire Work produces wire mesh products of varying sorts for the white goods industry. The factory was started by Electrolux during the 1950?s.

This paper describes the work done trying to diminish the noise present in the signal from an IR-detector. The project was aiming towards two different kinds of applications; heat protection and presence detection. The hypothesis was that the signal-noise ratio would decrease if a filter and a proper installation were used for the detector. Some experiments were executed to determine what kind of filter were the most suitable for each application and how these could be installed. After executing the experiments and evaluate the results we recommend to use a specific filter for each application.

I denna uppsats undersöker vi relationen mellan en ideell organisation och deras givaregenom en studie av Djurens Rätt och deras nuvarande medlemmar, före dettamedlemmar och personer som endast donerat pengar. För att belysa och diskuterarelationen använder vi en analysmodell där vi analyserar varje relation utifråndimensionerna nödvändig eller ej nödvändig och kompatibel eller ej kompatibel, samtförekomsten av kontrakt i relationen. Detta jämförs med hur konsumenter beskrivs inommodellen för att visa på skillnader mellan givare och konsumenter. Vår slutsats pekarmot att den stora skillnaden är att medlemmarna och Djurens Rätt arbetar mot sammamål, vilket gör att det inte finns någon skillnad mellan Djurens Rätts intresse ochmedlemmarnas. Beroende på hur nödvändig varje givare bedömer sin relation medDjurens Rätt varierar graden av interaktion, en hög grad av nödvändighet gör att personenblir medlem.

Allt större och större andel företag väljer att presentera och förmedla varor och tjänster via e-handel. En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Däremot finns indikationer på att för hög grad av multimedialt inslag inverkar negativt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer..

In order to decrease the disturbance from a cable testing equipment, the company Ericsson Network Technologies in Falun determined to design a new series resonant test system with a lower frequency. The new equipment is of series resonant type with a system frequency of 500 Hz. This equipment consists of an inductor, a capacitor and a voltage source. The voltage source is the same as the old one, the cable acts as the capacitor but the inductor has to be designed especially for the new equipment. In this thesis work several air coil inductor types were examined.

AimThe aim of this study was to evaluate the activity recorded with electromyography (EMG) fine-wire electrodes, in transversus abdominis (TrA) and rectus abdominis (RA) while performing various stabilization exercises, and to investigate how the level of activation was affected by specific instructionsMethodTen physically active women (27.1 ± 5.5year, 1.74 ± 0.05 m, 67.1 ± 8.6 kg) performed six different stabilization exercises (four lying supine with bent knees and hips and two in four point kneeling). They performed two sets of exercises, the first without and the second with specific instructions. The specific instruction was ?abdominal hollowing to activate? TrA. The fine-wire electrodes were inserted bilateral into TrA and RA with an injection needle with guidance from an ultrasound.
